Hello Beauties!

Sorry once again for being MIA- as I mentioned before life has been busy! However, this past weekend I went away for my good friend's bachelorette party and I knew I had to share some pictures and what not from this trip! We actually drove up to Prince Edward County (about a 3 hour trip away from Toronto) to the cutest most instagramable motel ever- The June Motel! It was retro, trendy, chic, and perfect! I recommend it for any girls getaway or bachelorette party! It may be a tad bit girly for a couples vacay! BUT- Be sure to book WAY in advance as they fill up very quickly!

During our time there we indulged in good food, lots of wine, and tried out some cute bakeshops! On our first night, we were all pretty tired from the trip up and just wanted to take it easy- it was also pouring :(. We ended up playing some bachelorette games (Porn or Polish - wish I def lost at...guess my mind was in the gutter! haha) and decorating the room for bride-to-be! We also had dinner at the County Canteen and I opted for fish tacos which paired nicely with the white wine we ordered! I definitely recommend this place because the food was pretty good and the environment was so cozy and had a nice vibe! We even got to sit outside under a nice heated lamp, and they gave each person the cutest knitted blankets to stay cozy! As you know, I like to be in burrito status all the time- so this was right up my alley!

Our second day- consisted of a lot of photos, wine, and goodies! Don't worry the staff at the June were super nice and always offered to snap our pictures - and they were pros at it! We started the morning bright and early as our driver for the tours (Henry) was coming at 11 ( he was the sweetest)! We actually found this place called the Bake Shop. It was probably one of the key highlights from our trip. It was about a 10 minute walk/ 2 minute drive from the June Motel. It's a self service bakery in a cute little farm shed that follows a trust policy. So, you literally go in, pick up your goodies, write down what you took and leave some cash. This something you def wouldn't find in the city! We even met the one owner as it is owned by a cute couple. If you go- you MUST try their scones and oatmeal cookies- they are too yummy!

The rest of the day was filled with wine tours around the county - this is a must when visiting Prince Edward County as they are known for their wineries. For those of you who are curious or looking to book a tour- we did ours with The County Wine Tours! I would recommend them- great service, super nice, and very accommodating! If you aren't a wine drinker there is also some breweries around and Sandbanks (beach) that is also a key reason to visit! There is also tons of cute little shops and cafes everywhere! The wine tours were tons of fun and filled with far too many sips of wine! We also stopped by The Vic Cafe for a quick bite after the tours! This part is a little blurry as we weren't there for too long (blame the wine). However, their cuban sandwich was pretty yummy and the place was very aesthetically pleasing! I want to def go back to try their breakfast! The Vic was actually located on the main strip which is one part I was super excited about, but by the time we got there all the shops were closed (closed around 5/6pm). However, it just gives me a reason to plan another trip up there (SOON)!

We ended up having dinner at The Drake Devonshire Inn - another very attractive, trendy, instragamable inn! This one however is on the opposite end of where the June was located and it was right near the water. If you are going with your boyfriend or hubby or a guys trip - I would opt for this place! I'm actually thinking of booking it for this upcoming Spring or Summer. The restaurant was very nice, but the options were fairly limited! However, it is a highly rated restaurant and worth trying at least once! It also had a very nice vibe at night, which is perfect for date night!

Sunday was check out day- so we packed up, headed to the bake shop one more time to pick up goodies for home, and headed back to the city! Overall, it was a great trip and I def recommend anyone to visit the county. It was absolutely one of the cutest towns I've been to! It is also a great town to take a small family vacation as well! Only tip is to call your taxi well in advance if you are using them to get around the county- there is only two services, limited cars, and no uber!

Well, I hope you liked hearing a bit about my trip to Prince Edward County and The June Motel! There is also some photos down below of my trip and the June! Enjoy xo

Until Next Time,
