Happy December everyone!
I cannot believe that it is already December and Christmas is only 21 days away! It's crazy! It still feels like Fall here to me and I just can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that Christmas is only a few weeks away! We have had our tree up since after Halloween - we got festive really quickly and even decorated the house! However, I am a bit behind in the gift department - I have to start ASAP! However, I did have some jammed packed weekends lately so now that it is going to be a little less chaotic I should be able to get some in!
With December here and the fact that everything seems a bit less crazy I do want to start blogging a lot more and I have some great posts that I will be sharing! I want to share some recipes, our favourite Christmas movies, gift guides, our Christmas photos, and decor! I also have been working on a very personal post about my story that I am hoping to share in the next week or so. For those of you who are reading and don't know me personally, I do love this time of year but it also reminds me of a time that was very difficult for me and I struggled a lot. So, I really wanted to do a post sharing my story in hopes of it helping someone out there and also allow you guys to get to know more about me on a personal level. So, keep an eye out for that one ( I am a bit nervous to post it).
In terms of updates, I have just been really busy at work and that has resulted in me being a bit tired in the evening that I haven't had much time to sit down and write after all my mommy duties are done. We have also had some photoshoots on the weekend and even some weddings we got to do photography for - so that was a lot of fun and kept us busy! I also had a friends wedding this past weekend which was so much fun and took up most of my weekend as I ended up staying in Vaughn for the weekend! It was a lot of fun and I'm so happy for my friend and the fact that I was able to see her say I do! I will also be sharing my outfit details once I get some pictures done of the dress, but I did post some details of the dress and some memories from the night on my Instagram story for those of you following me there! I'll include some photos down below - but I honestly didn't take many photos on the day as I was trying to live in the moment and really enjoy it! But, I promise I'll share the dress in another post! Overall, it was a great weekend even though I woke up not feeling the best ( Def had one too many shots! - but hey, you gotta live a little). It was also a reminder that I am getting old and I could never do that every weekend haha .
Oh yeah - and I am in the middle of planning a NYC getaway for early January! So, I'm hoping to do a whole NYC recap with photos and tips and must visit places on the blog once we approach that weekend. So, let me know if that would be something you are interested in!
Anyways- I just wanted to do a quick post with an update and to let you know I have many posts coming your way this month! I hope you all having an amazing week xo
