The holidays have arrived and Christmas is around the corner! I hope all of you are just as excited as I am to have some time off to spend time with family and friends. I'm actually proud to say that I am done all my Christmas shopping and will not be one of those last minute shoppers taking on the mall this weekend! Yay! Hopefully you are all done too! Today, I thought I would talk about our plans for the holiday week and share some of our favourite Christmas songs! Like what better time to blast Christmas songs than this weekend?!
For the holidays, I actually have the upcoming week completely off which I am so excited about! We also have some great things planned! On Friday, the new episodes of Fuller House were released and Mialyna and I binged watched them all! We love Full House! I also ended up resting as I haven't been feeling the best and I want to ensure I'm not sick my entire holiday. On Saturday, we hit the malls to grab some last minute things and I also had a mini outdoor photoshoot (brrr). I'll be sharing the pictures with you as soon as I get them back! Today, will be a baking day with my mom- we have a few recipes that we want to try out so I'm pretty pumped for that! Monday is Christmas- so of course, we will wake up and be opening presents! Mialyna, George, and I will be opening gifts at our house first and then heading over to my moms to open some more! Christmas Evening I will actually be going to a Christmas Dinner that I was invited to, which I'm super excited about! Super happy that I'm able to spend part of the day with those special people as well!
For Boxing Day, my mom & sister and I plan to tackle the malls! I'm determined to find some outfits for myself for my NYC trip that is coming up VERY SOON and pick up some new work clothes-- cause heck, why not!? Also, I'm hoping to find some good deals on clothes for Mia since she seems to be growing so fast lately! So, wish me good luck since I never seem to find anything I like that's on sale and always end up buying regular priced items haha
The rest of the week will be filled with the gym, fun activities with Mialyna, and lots of time with all the people that are important in my life <3 I'm thinking movies, trampoline park, play dates, lots of cuddles and more! On Dec.30 (my sister's birthday, yay!) we plan to have everyone over for a little get together for her birthday/Christmas since I won't be in town to do Christmas dinner on the 25th. So, this day will be filled with cake, yummy food, games, movies, and of course yummy drinks ( I have a feeling I'll be making a Christmas sangria and bringing the apple ciders!). I'll be sure to post the recipe to the sangria on the blog!
In between all of that, we will be relaxing and enjoying some down time since it looks like it will be a very busy year for me in terms of work! So, I'm really excited to be able to have some burrito time during the holidays!
